Delta Medix Patient General Information

Delta Medix Urology

Effective September 1, 2018, five Delta Medix Urologists – Dr. James Stefanelli, Dr. Jerald Gilbert, Dr. Ira Kohn, Dr. J. Robert Ramey and Dr. Brian Kapp – will no longer be seeing patients in the Scranton, Lackawanna County, as they will depart Delta Medix for Geisinger Health System.

Although this news has come as quite a surprise, we assure you there will be no changes in Delta Medix’s ability and promise to provide quality urologic care in Northeast Pennsylvania. We are honored to continue working with Delta Medix lead Urologist & Board President, Dr. Donald Preate, Jr., son of founding partner Dr. Donald Preate, Sr., and elated to welcome three new Urologists to Delta Medix: Dr. Irwin Goldstein, Dr. Michael Campenni and Dr. Jonathan Bingham.

For our patients who may be losing their urologist, we understand your concerns and frustration with this situation, and as a result have been taking the necessary actions to ensure you are not without a new urologist at Delta Medix come September 1, 2018.

We are committed to our mission of providing the highest quality care to our patients, using the most advanced techniques and emerging technology, and will be here, continuing to do so long into the future.

Should you have any additional questions or concerns regarding this matter, we urge you to contact our team by calling 570-342-7864.
